Note: In the first few classes, we’ll run through Chapter 1 as a quick preview of the entire class. The pace will be blisteringly fast, but we’ll see all this material a second time later in the semester.
In all assignments, I expect you to read the relevant Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Title 28 statutory provisions cited in the cases. In other words, if the case makes reference to a rule or statutory provision, read the rule or statute in the Rules Supplement (the soft-covered book that is a companion text to your hardcover casebook).
Please show up on time, and be prepared to engage.
