4.29 or Sa-I-Gu marks the burning of Los Angeles after the acquittals for four Los Angeles police officers who beat Rodney King.   2012 marks the twentieth year anniversary of this tragic and transformative event.

Regional scholars and community organizations are planning a conference to commemorate the 20th of 4.29.   It will take place on Saturday, April 28th, 2012, somewhere in Korea town.
